Please give us a call at (218) 263-7177 with any questions you might have as far as taking care of your specimens you wish to have mounted before you go out and get them. We need you to take care of the specimen properly in the field to assure a quality finished mount.
Here at Edgewater Taxidermy we take the time to recreate every detail possible to preserve your mount regardless if the mount is completed by freeze-dry or conventional taxidermy, or a combination of the two. We have three North Star freeze-dry machines on site for your freeze-dry needs.
Interesting customers we have had in the past. For example, we've done: squirrels, for the TV show Scrubs; mice, for the TV show Sex and the City; and chipmunks, for a production company in Canada for a beer commercial.
We have freeze-dried a great variety of hard-to-do specimens such as: tarantulas - turtles - iguanas - hamsters - rats, even cats and dogs.
We also had a customer who had water damage to many documents. We freeze-dried over 100 file boxes of records for this company; we were able to save these documents for continued use. If interested in this service please call for details on what to do with these documents before you can get them to us.
